The South Oxfordshire Generals are putting on the battle of Bosworth in 28mm for Overlord Show on 6th March. Of course with Impetus.

Impetus at the Wargames Olympiad

On March 26 and 27 PLAY, the most important gaming convention in Italy, will host the first edition of the WARGAMES OLYMPIAD.
Play is held in Modena. Closest airport is Bologna.
Among the competitions scheduled: Flames of War, Field of Glory, Operation WW2, DBA, Song of Drums and Shakos, Shako 2 and Impetus.

The Impetus tournament will be in 15mm, 400pts, 3 games with ancient armies (sub periods I, II and III).

These rules are intended as an appendix to the rulebook and are recommended for tournaments, but they are also suggested for gamers who seek fast and balanced games.
This version also includes some experimental rules like Flank Marches and the new rules on Generals, now under test, that will be published in Extra Impetus 4.

Price increase due to new postage rates

2011 started with a bad surprise.
Without any prior announcement the Italian Post has increased the cost of international priority mail in some cases up to 100%!!
We have temporary suspended the shop to calculate the new costs.
We will try to absorb much of the cost increase, but as we already did so, we will be compelled to increase some costs.

The increase will not affect Europe as we can totally absorb the cost increase (sigh).
Also, orders placed before the closing of the shop has been regularly shipped.

IWL 2010 - final results

Luca Pellattiero (photo) has won the Impetus World League 2010.
A very good year for Luca that also won the EuroCup in Madrid.
